Group Exercise Policies and Procedures

  • All in-person classes require advanced registration.
  • Please be on-time to class for appropriate warm-up, and to avoid distractions. You will be asked to leave if you are late.
  • Participation Policy: Three participants are required to conduct a class.
  • Schedule is subject to change monthly based on class participation.
  • Dress code requires that workout attire must fully cover the midsection.
  • Proper athletic shoes are required for all group exercises excluding mind, body, and aqua.
  • No cell phones or other devices allowed during classes.
  • University holidays: All group exercise classes canceled on observed university holidays.

Nova Southeastern University is pleased to offer a variety of in-person group fitness classes right here at the Recreational Complex (RecPlex). Our group fitness instructors bring the latest classes and fitness offerings to the NSU community, and there are plenty of options to please all fitness levels and interests.
